Don’t give your combination, security, or gate code to anyone. This is important because you want to keep your belongings safe and secure. The less people with this sensitive information, the better. While we can’t stop you from sharing your information, you are doing so at your own risk.

Don’t store food (including pet food of any kind), toxic chemicals, or illegal items in your unit. If you are unsure of what this all entails, don’t hesitate to ask.

Don’t store items that are dirty or wet. Dirty items will just create more dirt, not to mention the rodents/insects that can be attracted to this. Storing damp items can result in mold/mildew from growing and breeding. Who wants to come back to a unit that has become home to a breeding ground of mold? This creates a potential situation for all of your items to be covered in mold (not just the one wet item you placed in storage).

Don’t try to live in your unit. We will find out, not to mention it is illegal. This will cause you to be evicted immediately. The doors to units lock from the outside, there are no windows, there is no running water, cooking in the unit is a hazard and not allowed…These are just a few of the MANY reasons aside from being illegal that one should think about before even trying this. YOU WILL GET CAUGHT!

Don’t store your items without having insurance or a protection plan for your belongings. Be sure that your items are covered. It is a requirement of our that you have insurance or use a protection plan we offer. We don’t insure anything you store in your unit, your items you are storing are fully your responsibility.

Don’t work in your self-storage unit. Your storage unit is only for “dead storage.”
