Cleaning your storage unit

Tips for maintaining an upkept storage unit:

1. Clear out the unit: Remove all the items from your storage unit and place them outside of the unit or in a designated area.
2. Sweep the floor: Using a broom, sweep the entire floor of the unit to remove any dust, debris, or cobwebs. Pay special attention to corners and edges.
3. Wipe down surfaces: Using a damp cloth or sponge, wipe down any surfaces in the unit, including walls, shelves, and doors. This will help remove any dirt or grime that has accumulated.
4. Check for damage: While cleaning, check for any signs of damage, such as leaks, cracks, or holes. If you notice any issues, notify the storage facility immediately.
5. Allow to air out: After cleaning, leave the unit open for a few hours to allow it to air out and dry completely.
6. Organize the space: Once the unit is clean and dry, reorganize your belongings in a neat and orderly manner, grouping similar items together and labeling boxes or containers.
