Grandmas Couch
Your Grandma had it right…well sorta. We all remember the plastic covered couches when we visited Grandma and Grandpa or even Aunties or Uncles. Sticking to it in summer, having it squeak and crunch as we sat down, and just the look was enough to either turn us off or make us giggle. Believe it or not, they had the right idea…if they were in a storage unit.
We recommend covering furniture in your storage unit. No the bags are a bit different than Grandma had, but they do serve a purpose. Not only will it keep the dust off the furniture, but it will protect from anything spilling on the furniture and scratches or rubbing against other items. A few things to consider putting in plastic are; mattresses, couches, chairs, pictures, lampshades, blankets, pillows, etc.
Going in the plastic then to the unit, it will be all ready for you when you want to take it out and use it again. I would recommend taking off the plastic before putting back in your home 
Some trends are best left in the past.
