You’ve rented your storage unit and filled it with the items that you need stored. What’s next?
You will want to be sure that you are taking preventative measures to be sure that you are being proactive. One of these measures would be to be sure that you are not storing your items directly on the floor. We strongly suggest the use of pallets and shelving units within your unit.
You can also purchase something to help with moisture control such as DampRid or Silica Gel. We actually have a product that is along these lines that is available for purchase in our office. I’m sure these are things that are on the back burner in your mind. With that being said, it’s better to be prepared instead of waiting until it’s too late.
