This will forever be a debate. Lucky for you we have both types of units at 5 of our 9 facilities that we have state-wide in Wisconsin!
The question is often asked, what would I need a Climate-Controlled Storage unit for?
Essentially, you can put the same things inside that you can a conventional self-storage unit. However, it would be better to have for items such as books/documents, antique or collectible furniture, artwork, and anything that can be affected by weather changes. (Let’s face it, here in Wisconsin our weather has a mind of its own sometimes.)
Moral of the debate: You have to weigh your options and needs of what you are planning to put in storage.
