Furniture is the most commonly stored item in self-storage.
Some believe this could be due to the fact that furniture takes up a lot of space. It could also be the fact that furniture can be HEAVY!
This being said, it makes sense that people would rather store their furniture in a self-storage unit rather than moving it around with them place to place. It’s a great option if you are between moves, living with roommates, making renovations, or even just don’t have enough space at the moment.
You will definitely want to be sure that your furniture is covered. Be sure to utilize Sofa, Chair, and most definitely mattress bags! If you are looking for a flat plastic cover, you can even check out dust covers. This could allow multiple items to be covered with one cover.
